Black chain plates.
Spoke nipples are what keep the spoke in the rim of the tire. They are made of brass or alloy. Anodizing them gives a wide variety of colors to choose from.
The chain pegs (or pins) are what hold the chain together.
Chain rollers: these are the pieces sandwiched between the chain plates.
